# Your day, on every new tab.

Reassign for Chrome is a 24-hour day planner on your new tab. It frames your live dial on every new tab, and sends whatever you’re reading to your plan: from a popup, a right-click, or the address bar. Free to install. The new tab needs no account.

Chrome 127 or later.

*Every new tab opens on your live dial. Type `reassign` in the address bar to add to it.*

**What it does**

## Three ways to reach your day, without leaving the browser.

1. ### Every new tab is your day.

The real [24-hour dial](https://reassign.ai/features/the-dial), not a screenshot: your events, your colours, the now-indicator, all of it. Signed out, a new tab still shows a live dial on a sample day, so it is never a login wall.

2. ### Add the page you’re reading.

Click the toolbar button, right-click the page, or press ⌘/Ctrl+Shift+U. Send it to today, or add it to your [Inbox](https://reassign.ai/features/inbox) for later. The page comes across as a clickable link on the block.

3. ### Quick add from the address bar.

Type “reassign”, press space, then say it in plain words: “deep work 9 to 11”. An exact time lands on the dial straight away; a looser note opens the capture card first.

## What’s free, and what’s Pro

Installing the extension and the new-tab dial are **free and need no account**. Adding a page connects the browser to your Reassign account. Sending a page to your **[Inbox](https://reassign.ai/features/inbox) is Pro**, because the Inbox is Pro. When your plan gates a write, the extension says so and links you to upgrade. It never fails quietly.

## What the extension can reach

The extension talks to **one place: reassign.app**, its only host permission. The new tab frames the live app and **never records the pages you browse**. It signs in with a standard browser OAuth flow you can revoke at any time. The full detail is in the [privacy policy](https://reassign.ai/privacy#extension).

**Set it up**

## Two clicks to your day on every new tab.

1. ### Add it.

Install from the Chrome Web Store. Nothing to configure.

2. ### Open a new tab.

Your dial is there, live. Signed out, it runs on a sample day.

3. ### Connect once.

To add pages, click the toolbar button and connect your account. It only asks once.

That is the whole setup. Add it, and open a new tab.

Already use Reassign? Connect once, and every page you send lands on the same dial, in the same areas.

## Chrome extension FAQ

What is the Reassign Chrome extension?

Reassign for Chrome is a 24-hour day planner that lives on your new tab. Every new tab shows today’s dial with your events and colours, and you can send the page you are reading to your plan from a popup, a right-click, or the address bar. Installing it and the new-tab dial are free and need no account.

Is the Reassign Chrome extension free?

Yes. Installing it and the new-tab dial are free and need no account. Adding a page to your plan connects your Reassign account, and sending it to your Inbox is Pro, because the Inbox is Pro.

What does a new tab show if I am not signed in?

A live 24-hour dial on a sample day. The new tab frames the real app, so you get a working dial, never a blank page or a login wall.

Does the extension track my browsing?

No. It never records the pages you browse. The new tab frames the live app, and the extension talks only to reassign.app, which is its one host permission.

How do I add the page I am reading?

Click the toolbar button, right-click the page, or press Cmd+Shift+U (Ctrl+Shift+U on Windows and Linux). Choose to add it to today or to your Inbox.

What is the address-bar quick add?

Type reassign in the address bar, press space, then say your plan in plain words. An exact time lands on the dial straight away; a vague entry opens the capture card first.

Which browsers does it support?

Google Chrome 127 or later, and Chromium browsers that install from the Chrome Web Store.
