Looking for a Voiset alternative

An honest Voiset alternative, from someone who built one: Voiset's plans, voice caps and apps from its own pages, and where each tool wins.

A hand-drawn 24-hour ring dial divided into two halves, one side holding a lone arc block with dotted trails suggesting automatic placement and the other holding several arc blocks with pencil approval marks, a gold-tipped quill bridging the divide.

First, the bias. Reassign is mine. I built it because my own day kept disappearing into a list, so read everything below with that on the table. Everything I say about Voiset comes from Voiset’s homepage, pricing page, App Store listing and Google Play listing, checked on 29 September 2026. Where I could not confirm something on a page Voiset owns, I leave it out.

Second, the short answer. Voiset is a voice-first task manager that schedules for you and is built to be shared with a team. You press one button, say the task, and it picks a time. Reassign puts one person’s day on a 24-hour dial. Speak to the dial and safe changes apply immediately with one Undo; deletes and clears open the palette for review. Typed plans in Ask AI and braindump wait for approval. If you want a team tool with voice capture, stay with Voiset. If you want to see your whole day and choose when to change it, read on.

What does Voiset actually do?

Checked on 29 September 2026, against pages Voiset owns.

Voice first. The App Store listing opens with the pitch: “Press one button and say it out loud.” Voiset “writes it down, picks a real time in your day, and sets a reminder.” Voice to task works “in 55 languages,” and turns your words into a task “with a title, time, date and priority.” You can also schedule calls by voice: “Say ‘schedule a call with Anna next week’ and Voiset does the rest.”

Autoscheduling. The App Store listing says: “Voiset looks at your calendar and your workload and finds a slot where the task really fits. If your day changes, it plans it again for you.” The listing states the philosophy in one line: “You do not type. You do not drag blocks around a calendar. You talk, and your day gets planned.”

Teams and workspaces. “Invite people into a workspace and plan together. Assign tasks, attach files, set deadlines and watch the status change in real time.” There are separate workspaces for work, family and clients, projects inside them, and “simple analytics” per project or per person. The homepage adds that AI “automatically suggests deadlines and performers based on team workload.”

Around the core. Smart notes that turn into tasks in one tap, a booking link that shows “only the slots where you are really free,” a Pomodoro timer, a home screen widget, and a Telegram assistant. The listing says “two way sync with Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, Zoom and Telegram.” The homepage also says Voiset “connects to Claude via MCP” and has a ChatGPT plugin.

Platforms. An iPhone app on the App Store, an Android app on Google Play, and a web app at voiset.io. The App Store showed version 2.2.2 from 28 August, and Google Play showed an update on 24 August 2026. So the mobile apps are active.

The price. Three plans, in euros on the pricing page. Base is 9.99 euros a month, or 8 euros a month billed annually. Advanced is 15.99 or 13. Premium is 31.99 or 27. Every plan says “Unlimited AI Scheduling,” but voice is capped: “up to 30 min per month” on Base, 120 on Advanced and 240 on Premium. Base allows up to 5 users and 3 workspaces. The page offers a free trial and says “Risk free. Cancel anytime.” It does not say how long the trial runs, and it lists no free plan.

That is the honest inventory. It is a capable tool with a clear idea of itself.

Voiset vs Reassign: what is the real difference?

The real difference is what triggers a change. Voiset says it replans when your day changes. In Reassign, you ask for a change: drag a block, speak to the dial, or submit a plan through Ask AI. A new meeting does not trigger an automatic reshuffle of your other blocks.

The AI scheduling tools roundup compares automatic scheduling with plans you review. Reassign’s typed Ask AI plans wait for approval. Dial voice is quicker: safe changes apply immediately with Undo, while deletes and clears go to review. The wider case for choosing when a plan moves is in can AI plan your day?.

1. Voice: the front door, or one of the doors

Voiset is built around the mic. That is its best idea, and it is real: when you are in the car or between meetings, saying the task beats typing it.

Reassign has voice too, since 28 September 2026, on Pro. Tap the voice icon in the centre of the dial, or press Control+M, and say “move the gym to 7 and push everything after lunch back an hour.” Safe changes (a new block, a move, an edit, a split) apply at once, with one Undo in a toast. A delete, a clear or a question back to you opens the palette with the same plan for review. In the Ask AI chat and in braindump you can dictate instead of type, up to 60 seconds a clip. The text goes in where your cursor is and never sends itself, so you read it before anything happens.

The honest gap: Voiset treats voice as the main way in, with 55 languages. Reassign treats it as one input next to typing, dragging and a photo of a paper list.

2. Who moves the block

The rails are worth stating exactly, because “you approve everything” is the kind of claim that goes soft. Ask AI takes a compound request and hands back a plan as cards you approve. Nothing lands until you say so. Ask AI can delete and clear, with that review step in front of it. Braindump turns a page of loose lines, or a photo of one, into cards, and it cannot delete or clear anything. The one exception is voice from the dial, above. Nothing reshuffles your afternoon on its own because a meeting landed at 2.

Voiset’s listing promises the opposite, and says so plainly: “If your day changes, it plans it again for you.” For some people that is the relief they came for. For others, a plan that moves under them is the reason the last planner died.

3. The shape of the day

Voiset shows today, the week and the month as a calendar. Reassign draws the day as one 24-hour ring: midnight at the top, noon at the bottom, every block a wedge sized to its real length, a now indicator sweeping round it. Nothing scrolls out of view, so the evening cannot quietly stop existing while you are inside the morning. If you lose track of the whole day, that is time blindness, and a list of voice tasks does not fix it.

The honest cost: a ring shows one day at a time. Pro adds a list and a timeline to read the days ahead, and the dial stays the place you draw.

4. Team tool or personal tool

Voiset is for “families and small teams” as much as for one person: assignees, shared workspaces, per-person analytics, a booking page for clients. Its industry pages cover accounting agencies, hospitality, repair firms and real estate.

Reassign is for one person’s day. Areas are colours, activity types are fill patterns, blocks are blocks. No assignees, no shared workspaces, no booking page. No streaks or gamification either, by design: missing a day breaks nothing, and the dial just shows today.

Where is Voiset straightforwardly better?

Not a rhetorical section. These are real.

  • Teams and assignees. Invite people, assign tasks, attach files, watch status change in real time. Reassign has no team features at all.
  • 55 voice languages. Voiset transcribes voice in 55 languages. I have not verified a language count for Reassign’s dictation, so I will not print one.
  • Mobile apps, today. Voiset has an iPhone app and an Android app, both updated in the last few weeks. Reassign is a web app you install to your Home Screen. Our own iPhone companion app is being built, as a companion to the dial, not a second planner. Until it ships, Voiset is ahead on the phone. Home-screen widgets are Soon for Reassign, and Voiset has one now.
  • Voice as the main input. Press one button and talk. If you rarely sit at a screen, that matters more than anything else on this page.
  • Booking links. Share a link and let clients book a free slot. Reassign has nothing like it.
  • The entry price. Base is 9.99 euros a month, or 8 euros billed annually, against Reassign’s $14 or $120 a year. Read the voice cap (30 minutes a month on Base) before you count that as the whole story.

If two or more of those carry weight for you, stay with Voiset. That is a real answer.

Where is Reassign better?

  • The whole day visible at once. One dial, all 24 hours, every block at its real size.
  • Nothing scheduled that you did not ask for. Ask AI and braindump return cards you approve. Voice from the dial applies safe changes with one Undo and sends deletes to review.
  • Two-way sync with more of your tools (Pro): Google Calendar, Outlook, Todoist, Google Tasks, Microsoft To Do, Linear and TickTick.
  • Focus mode (Pro): one block, the dial cropped to an arc and turning under a marker at now. Pause draws a break at now and Continue picks the rhythm up again; there is no skip control. Stop the session when you need to stop.
  • An agent surface for your own day (Pro). Voiset’s homepage says it connects to Claude via MCP. Reassign’s MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP client read your real day and edit it with an undo token, and a public REST API with an OpenAPI 3.1 spec runs on the same operations.
  • No gamification, by design. No streaks, no trophies, no “you broke your run”.

All these features are in Pro and in the 7-day no-card trial. There is no permanent Free plan.

What does each one cost?

Reassign has one Pro plan at $14/month or $120/year ($10/month billed yearly), with a 7-day no-card trial and no automatic charge. After the trial, a subscription is required to use the planner; your data stays. See plans.

Voiset, on its own pricing page on 29 September 2026: Base at 9.99 euros a month, or 8 euros a month billed annually, with up to 30 minutes of voice a month, 5 users and 3 workspaces. Advanced at 15.99 or 13 euros, with 120 minutes of voice and a booking system. Premium at 31.99 or 27 euros, with 240 minutes. The US App Store sells the plans as in-app purchases, from $8.99 for Base to $299.99 for Premium. Store prices vary by region, so check yours there rather than trusting mine.

If you are also looking at Motion

Motion is the other autopilot, with a bigger suite and a bigger price. It is covered in the Motion alternative, and the rest of the field is in the AI scheduling tools roundup.

How do you decide in one evening?

Put tomorrow into both, the whole day including the boring parts. Say it into Voiset. Say it into Reassign’s dial, or type it into braindump and approve the cards.

Then, at 3pm tomorrow, when something has already gone wrong, open each one. Voiset will have planned it again for you. Reassign will show the day exactly where you left it, with the broken part visible as a shape, and one drag or one sentence to fix it.

One of those will feel like relief and the other like a loss of control. Which is which is the answer. If the autopilot felt like relief, keep Voiset. If seeing the day and deciding faster felt like relief, a round day is worth an evening of your time.

Frequently asked

What is the best Voiset alternative?
It depends on what you used Voiset for. If the point was a team, with tasks assigned to people, shared workspaces and a booking link for clients, look at other team task managers, because Reassign has no team features at all. For one person's day, Reassign draws all 24 hours as one dial and lets you change the plan by voice. Safe changes from dial voice apply immediately with one Undo; deletes and clears open the palette for review. Typed plans in Ask AI and braindump wait for approval. Pro is $14 a month or $120 a year, with a 7-day no-card trial. Reassign is mine, so read the whole page before you take that at face value.
How much does Voiset cost?
On Voiset's pricing page, checked 29 September 2026, there are three plans in euros. Monthly billing: Base at 9.99 euros, Advanced at 15.99 euros and Premium at 31.99 euros a month. Annual billing: 8, 13 and 27 euros a month. Voice tasks and notes are capped per month: 30 minutes on Base, 120 on Advanced and 240 on Premium. The US App Store lists in-app purchases from $8.99 (Base) to $299.99 (Premium). The pricing page offers a free trial but does not say how long it runs, and it lists no free plan.
Does Voiset have a mobile app?
Yes. On 29 September 2026 Voiset had an iPhone app on the App Store and an Android app on Google Play, plus a web app at voiset.io. The App Store showed version 2.2.2 from 28 August, and Google Play an update on 24 August 2026. Reassign today is a web app you install to your Home Screen, and its iPhone companion app is being built. If a store app on your phone is a must right now, Voiset is ahead there.
Does Voiset schedule tasks for me automatically?
Yes, that is its core idea. Its App Store listing says Voiset looks at your calendar and workload, finds a slot where the task fits, and if your day changes, it plans it again for you. It also says, in its own words, that you do not drag blocks around a calendar. Reassign works the other way: Ask AI and braindump hand back a plan as cards you approve. The one exception is voice from the dial, which applies safe changes at once with one Undo and sends deletes and clears to the palette for review.
Can I plan my day by voice in Reassign?
Yes, on Pro. Tap the voice icon in the centre of the dial, or press Control+M, and say what you want; safe changes apply at once with one Undo in a toast, and a delete or a clear opens the palette for review. In the Ask AI chat and in braindump you can dictate instead of type, up to 60 seconds a clip, and the text never sends itself. Voiset makes voice the main way in and transcribes 55 languages; Reassign treats voice as one input among typing, dragging and photos.
