Type the whole day in one line. Approve the plan.

Compound requests, one undo

Ask AI reads the whole line, works out the moves, and hands them back as cards. Edit a card, uncheck one you do not want, then apply. The whole batch lands behind a single undo.

Braindump takes everything at once

Type /braindump and the input becomes a multi-line field. Dump the lot, one thought per line, then ⌘Enter. A line with a time becomes a block on the day it names, a timeless to-do goes to your Inbox, a feeling logs as a mood, and a cadence like “25 on, 5 off” sets that block’s focus rhythm.

It asks rather than guesses

When a line is genuinely ambiguous it asks, with the options already worked out, so one click resolves it. Reply in plain words to refine the plan before you apply it.

You see it on the dial first

Every proposed change previews on the ring while you read the cards, so you are approving a shape you can see rather than a list of times you have to imagine.

What it will not do

A braindump can never delete or clear anything: refused by the prompt and by the parser. Ask AI can move, swap, delete, clear and send a block to your Inbox, so we will not pretend otherwise. Here are the real limits. It only runs when you submit. Every plan arrives as cards you approve, and nothing fires on its own. Clearing and deleting ask you to hold the button to confirm. Calendar events you do not own are left alone. The app actions it can reach are the reversible ones, like jumping to another day or turning a layer on, never your settings and never connecting a calendar. One dump is capped at 2000 characters, 40 lines, 25 actions and 6 replies, and it tells you when it cut something off.

This page is the what and the why. For the step by step, the docs cover the same ground as instructions: Ask AI and braindump in the docs →

Is this a chatbot?
No. Braindump is refinement, not conversation: you reply in plain words to adjust a plan that is already on the table. The open-ended conversation surface is MCP, where Claude works with your day directly.
Can it wipe my day by accident?
A braindump cannot delete or clear anything at all. Ask AI can, but nothing applies until you approve the cards, and clearing or deleting holds to confirm on top of that.
What does it cost?
Ask AI and braindump are Pro, at $8 a month or $72 a year. The 7-day Pro trial needs no card.
