Log anything that happens on a clock.

Mood is free. Tracking your own moments is Pro.

Three kinds of thing to count

A tally for things you count (coffees, glasses of water), a rating for things you score (how you feel, 1 to 5), and a quantity with its own unit and step for things you measure. Each gets an icon, a colour, and an area, so it rolls up with the rest of your time.

Mood is one of them, and it is free

Mood ships as a rating moment out of the box, so tracking how the day felt costs nothing. Your own trackers are the Pro part.

What you log bends your energy curve

Anything you track that plausibly shifts alertness feeds the energy curve: a coffee lifts it and then dips it a few hours later as it clears. Tap the mark and the dial says why in plain words.

Re-time it, then read it back

Logged it late? Drag the mark round the ring to when it actually happened. The legend reads each tracker’s daily tally, average or total, and it carries into Time Insights.

A point, never a block

A moment marks an instant, so nothing you log ever takes time off your day or competes with what you planned. Nothing is scored, nothing is streaked, and a tracker you stop using just goes quiet.

This page is the what and the why. For the step by step, the docs cover the same ground as instructions: Moments and mood in the docs →

What can I track?
Anything you can count, rate, or measure at a point in the day: coffee, water, medication, reps, screens, cigarettes, or how you feel. You define the tracker, its unit, and its icon.
Is mood tracking free?
Yes. Mood ships as a moment on every plan. Adding your own trackers is Pro.
