Your Microsoft To Do list, on the clock

Reassign now syncs two-way with Microsoft To Do. Each dated task lands in your Inbox with its due date; drag it onto the 24-hour dial to give it an hour.

A paper list of dashed marks with one strip peeling off and curving along a dotted path onto a 24-hour ring dial as a gold arc block.

Your Outlook calendar is full. Your Microsoft To Do list is longer. Put them on the same day and you can see which tasks fit before you commit to them.

Reassign syncs your Microsoft To Do lists into an Inbox beside the 24-hour dial. Drag a task into an open hour. Complete it here and it is done in Microsoft To Do too.

Bring the lists you need

In Integrations, connect your Outlook.com or Microsoft 365 account and choose your To Do lists. Each dated task arrives in the Inbox under its due date. Undated tasks import only from the lists you opt in.

Outlook Calendar is a separate connection. Connect both to plan tasks around meetings, or use To Do on its own.

Keep the deadline. Choose the working time.

A report due Thursday might need an hour on Tuesday and another pass on Wednesday. Scheduling work should not rewrite the deadline.

Drag the report from the Inbox onto Tuesday’s dial. Set its duration, then move or resize it as your day changes. The planned day, time and duration stay in Reassign. The due date stays Thursday in Microsoft To Do.

A deadline change in Microsoft To Do updates the task here without shifting the block you placed. To change the deadline yourself, edit or clear the synced due date in the Inbox.

One completion, in both apps

Titles, plain-text notes, due dates and completion sync both ways. Finish a task in Microsoft To Do and Reassign marks it done. Check it off on the dial or in the Inbox and Microsoft To Do follows.

Remove a linked block from your day and the task returns to the Inbox, its deadline intact. Filter by Integration when you want to plan just your Microsoft tasks; switch back to all integrations to see what else needs time.

What stays in Microsoft To Do

Steps, attachments and reminder settings stay in Microsoft To Do. Reassign syncs the due date, not a reminder time or your planned working hours. Local recurring blocks do not create recurring tasks there.

Sync runs automatically, with Sync now on the source card when you need it. Disconnecting stops sync and keeps imported tasks. Deleting the connected source removes its linked imports from Reassign without deleting anything in Microsoft To Do.

Give tomorrow’s list a reality check

Connect your work list, bring in your Outlook meetings, and place one task in the space between them. You can see what fits before the day starts asking for more.

Frequently asked

Does Reassign sync with Microsoft To Do?
Yes, two-way. Titles, notes, due dates and completion move both ways. This connection syncs due dates, so a dated task lands in your Inbox with its due date; drag it onto the 24-hour dial to give it a time.
Which Microsoft account do I need?
Reassign works with a Microsoft account, either Outlook.com or Microsoft 365. Microsoft To Do and Outlook Calendar are separate connections, so you can run one or both.
Does the time I set sync back to Microsoft To Do?
No. This connection syncs the due date, not your planned working time or reminder times. The exact time and duration live in Reassign; the due date and the done state flow back.
If I complete a task, does it update in both places?
Yes. Check it off on the dial and it closes in Microsoft To Do; complete it there and it shows as done on the dial. It stays one task wherever you finish it.
What happens to my tasks if I disconnect Microsoft To Do?
Disconnecting stops sync and keeps imported tasks. Delete the connected source to remove its linked imports from Reassign. Nothing is deleted in Microsoft To Do, and you can also revoke Reassign from your Microsoft account.
